Are you willing to: 1. Take food items to and from the Food Closet and two Storage areas as needed using market-style shopping carts? 2. Haul out empty boxes to the dumpster area, milk crates and bread trays to the storage area to keep the hallways clear? 3. Empty small and light weight containers? 4. Sort through assorted bread products, cracked eggs, sticky pastries, overly ripe produce, and repackage for distribution? 5. Unload food donations from volunteers' vehicles into food closet and/or storage areas? 6. Rebag rice, beans, potatoes, onions, and citrus from +/- 50-100# bags into smaller vegetable bags for distribution? 7. Keep book donations stocked outdoors for distribution from opening to closing? If you are willing to do such "dirty jobs" that are critical to the daily operation, we need you NOW as part of the very dedicated Food Closet teams.
