In conjunction with the opening of three exhibitions celebrating the vast and rich culture of Japan, the Crocker will present 7.5 hours of continuous programming commemorating the 75th anniversary of the signing of the United States’ Executive Order 9066 during World War II. The day will close with a screening of Grave of the Fireflies directed by Isao Takahata, co-sponsored by the Sacramento Japanese Film Festival. Join us for all or part of this reflective day.
