Honor your loved ones this holiday season with a gift that helps someone in real need around the world! Buy a flock of chickens, a hive of honeybees or a goat to help feed a family and create ongoing income through Heifer International. Through Church World Service Best Gift program, buy emergency blankets, jerry cans to carry clean water or tools to help a refugee earn a living. Sponsor a child in another country through World Vision. Or help fund our Stop Hunger Now project and feed hungry children around the world. Remember to bring your checkbook to church on Nov. 19!

South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership (SSIP) Food Closet

SSIP Provides emergency food to South Sacramento needy families and individuals.  Food drop off boxes are available in the Fellowship Hall.


Provide a Thanksgiving Meal

Would you be willing to spend what you would spend on just one meal to help feed a local family in need?  The SSIP Food Closet has a goal to feed 700 local families this Thanksgiving, with the help of donations from the community.  Can you help us to fill our Thanksgiving family meal boxes? Each donation is a nutritional blessing that can make a real difference. Make your check payable to the SSIP Food Closet.

Gifts for Chacon Students

Get into the Christmas Spirit and buy a Christmas gift for a child from our neighboring Chacon School. UMW is coordinating Christmas Gifts for Chacon Students ages 5 to 6. will have Christmas Trees for you to pick an ornament with a child's name to buy a gift. Purchase a new toy for this 5 or 6 year old child. ($15 - $20) . Please wrap your gift. Please attach the ornament with the child's name onto the gift.  Return to the church by Sunday December 10th. Gifts can also be brought to the church office  during the week prior to December 10th.
